Langham Partnership International

Langham Partnership International (LPI) now includes six national movements (UK & Ireland, USA-John Stott Ministries, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Hong Kong). In addition, some ten Regional Councils have been created so that Majority World church leaders can provide insight and direction for Langham’s ministry in their countries. Today three programs continue the efforts that John Stott pioneered more than 30 years ago. Langham Scholars provides Ph.D. training for hundreds of emerging leaders each year so they may serve and train pastors in seminaries, churches, and other ministries in their home countries. Langham Literature enables local church leaders to write and publish needed books, and distributes tens of thousands of books to seminary libraries, students, and pastors each year. Langham Preaching seeks to respond to requests to launch biblical preaching movements in countries around the world.

What is the future of Langham Partnership International/John Stott Ministries?
John Stott established Langham Partnership International several decades ago in order to assure that his vision for equipping Majority World pastors continued well beyond his lifetime. LPI continues to grow steadily, under the leadership of Chris Wright, appointed International Director in 2001, along with three International Program Directors: Steve Hardy (Langham Scholars), Pieter Kwant (Langham Literature), and Jonathan Lamb (Langham Preaching). Each year, Langham financially supports close to one hundred doctoral scholars from the faculties of evangelical seminaries around the world, distributes thousands of books to pastors, students and libraries, facilitates the writing and publishing of culturally relevant, biblically based books in many languages, and hosts training seminars in biblical preaching for pastors all over the world.
